    I had a great time participating as a coach for a team of community researchers in the Prestons. It's an important initiative that uses a community-based approach to support communities in finding solutions to concerns they have around community health and well-being.

    One of the main reasons we received funding from NS Environment in March was because a manager at Nova Scotia Environment was listening to the show and was greatly moved by the environmental racism segment. It is a great example of how media can help, not hurt.
