The waiting list needs to be addressed. I referred a friend nearly a month ago, and he still can’t sign up.

He probably fat fingered his information or failed KYC. You can wait on the manual process or maybe try sign up again with a different email! Many people succeed sign up in 2min with a different email.

How much longer? I have a friend who used my code from yesterday but no deposit into my account and a friend who wants to sign up today.

Did they deposit the required funds into their account? If so it takes a few days. Mine showed up a few days later.
