why ain’t support responding to tickets

We're experiencing an influx of customer support tickets, we appreciate your patience and will reach-out to get your issue resolved.
I understand your support staff may be overloaded, but why would it take 7 days + just to get my daughter's account changed from "Pending" to ok? Support tickets do not work, as evidence fromu all the complaints on Twitter. I have looked for other services but want to stay.
