I’m seeing reports that new users are experiencing this screen. This is likely just a back-end verification error related to manual account approvals and in no way accurate unless specifically stated.

If you’re receiving the message that your state is not approved, you are actually on the waitlist. This means that all new and unfunded accounts are currently waitlisted. An app update will go out shortly to replace the state not approved message with the waitlist notification.
