How much electricity does the entire global banking system consume? Now add that to all visa, MasterCard, American Express, etc transactions. Bitcoin wins.

A better comparison would be to compare gold and bitcoin. And not paper gold (which is just accounted for in centralized databases), but actual gold transactions world wide. Bitcoin wins.
