We’re supposed to be upset that businesses people rely on are permanently closing because the DA can’t seem to distinguish criminal activity from self care.

You the one who asked, and also the one who seemed to miss the point, which was about yesterday’s Walgreens closures. I’m not defending anything but perhaps the right of an elderly person to access medication in relative proximity to their home, or talk to a real person

Corporations or not, these are places that people go to get food, medications, toys for their kids etc. I think your instinct not to trust their PR is right, but it doesn’t change the fact that the shoplifting and blatant criminality that Boudin abets makes people feel unsafe.
