    My fellow engineers: grow a goddamn ethical backbone. "This is inevitable because someone else will do it" doesn't mean that *you* have to personally contribute to it, and if all of us decline, then it won't happen and isn't inevitable.

    Insider attack resistance (as an explicit threat model) means that even Google or the respective device OEM - with full access to firmware singing keys - will be unable to create firmware that can exfiltrate keys without user consent. See blog post for details.
