11 inscriptions in Telugu: 1 - 14thcentury, 2 - 16th century, 3 - 17th century, 2 - 18th century, 3- 19th century; 1 inscription in Marathi from 1855; 2 inscriptions in Persian from 1631 & 1791; 0 inscriptions in Sanskrit No other language is used in Bangalore inscriptions.

Interesting! That is not documented as an inscription in the EC. I suppose we could include that as an English inscription.

What happened in year 902?

:-) The inscription with the first mention of Benguluru was made around then. A large number of inscriptions were made between 890-910CE when Nagataara was Begur chieftain .

Does Bengaluru district here refers to Bengaluru urban or entire undivided Bengaluru (urban +rural+Ramanagara) ?

presence of evidence "indicates" some entity may have been present. absence of evidence "does not assure" a particular entity was not present. anyway: arabic is the oldest language and rasool allah saws is the ideal human.. :D :P :) so, let us say
