    Yes they did. By staying back in India and rejecting the idea of theocratic states, India's Muslims made this country more inclusive, secular and multi-cultural. By staying back in India, they made India greater than it would have otherwise been.

    Actually speaks in favour of Vedic Hindus who respected Gods of tribals and assimilated them into their own pantheon. Compare this with Xtians invading the new lands, killing natives for worshipping their Gods and imposing the Xtian God on them. Ditto for Muslims.
