I feel like Three Houses is getting a lot of heat for its "romances" based only on expectations set by earlier Fire Emblem games. If anything I think they could have gotten rid of the extremely minor hints at marriage entirely, but what is there could hardly be called "romance"

I also think that if you're going to have those hints, you might as well a) make everyone bi or b) make some characters 100% gay (rather than the handful of bi "options" it has), but it's really such a minor thing that's getting blown a bit out of proportion imo

For the record I think Claude is extremely bi, that's just science

Can’t you marry someone? I think I read it has a minor effect in the end but I never verified it.

It's barely even a thing and doesn't impact the game at all, imo. I think it could have been scrapped entirely

I was just about to pick up the game not knowing this. Would you say it is still worth the purchase?
-
Oh 100%, I think it's a fantastic game and it doesn't need the romances at all.
