My good bud @SBMPediatrics agrees. The verdict in the Ezekiel Stephan case is a tragedy of justice.https://sciencebasedmedicine.org/the-verdict-is-in-there-is-no-justice-for-ezekiel-stephan/ …

Full disclosure, I was counsel for Collett Stephan on various days during this retrial. What I find truly astounding is how people can opine so emphatically on a case when they did not even spend one moment in the courtroom listening to testimony.

Full disclosure, I'm a physician who thinks logically. What I find truly astounding is that anyone would choose to defend either of the parents when outside of the courtroom.

Post-respiratory arrest is the incorrect time to call for an ambulance in the case of a toxic child. If it was viral, great. We have pediatric ICUs that can offer fantastic supportive care. If it was bacterial, post-brain death is the incorrect time for antibiotics.

In your expert medical opinion, what are the chances of a child having a good outcome after an out-of-hospital arrest that occurs many minutes before an EMS crew even arrives? Compare and contrast that with outcomes for viral, or even bacterial, meningitis managed promptly.

Stephans father also changed a reason for death of his own wife. First blaming the Canadian IRS because they owed so much in back taxes for her suicide. Claiming they harassed and tormented them so much coupled with the debt it drove her to suicide. He even sued them, unsurprisin

I don't need testimony to know how i feel, all i have to know is that this poor child suffered for weeks while his dumb ass parents neglected him until he died. The father is delusional and using his sons death to sell books, he's a remorseless monster. There's no justice here.
