Sure, I could just do nothing but Elden Ring videos to "appease the algorithm" but that's obviously not sustainable. It's extremely frustrating fighting against this thing.

Every time YouTube talks about creator burnout, it's crap like this that causes it. Most of the audience I build from these successful videos aren't even made aware of the unsuccessful ones, and no amount of analytic analysis can illuminate why.

Why, , why do I get punished so hard for branching out? The discrepancy in views between Elden Ring and literally anything else is absolutely insane. The low view videos get only 1-3% of the impressions of the high view videos.

DOOM and DOOM 2 were made and brilliant leaps in gaming, and neither of them had a jump button. Why does DOOM 2016 have one, then? Clearly it's not needed for a good, beatable game!

Yellow bars connection in is legitimately awful to play in. No amount of "omg we have rollback" makes it okay to be CONSTANTLY getting hit by things that weren't on my screen at the time.

When your views range from 5,000 to 500,000 without any real predictability, how the FRICK are you supposed to negotiate ad rates with marketers?
Basically no-one is willing to negotiate a performance-based CPM, they usually expect "guaranteed views".
