    First, isn’t it their own credit monitoring service? Second, what’s the additional revenue from people that signed up for services sold to them to help “protect” them as a result of the breach?

    $3.4B for not patching an open source vuln library in a web app. "The total cost of the settlement for Equifax has been est. at just under $1.4B, w/the costs of providing free credit monitoring potentially costing the company as much as $2B on top of that"

    I'd like to submit a formal architecture pattern named "Magpie Architecture". Where it's a convoluted architecture full of shiny objects that many someones thought would be cool to add to the "relatively" simple application.
