Of course, Apple Wearables (AW) benefits hugely from belonging to the Apple IPad, iPhone environment (like Apple Music and Apple TV) Would AW still benefit from such integration in case of spin-off? Erm... don't think so...

The anti-monopoly argument: “Wearables and cloud are adjacent (not core) businesses for these behemoths…their success is a function of the companies’ monopoly power… AirPods Pro and Azure are great products. However, Bose, Cloudflare, and Sonos are also great products...”

This is not very useful. The wearables business lives on the tight integration to the mother ship: the iPhone. As a separate company, the wearables business has the value of the Peak Smartwatch.

Is thins because firms line Rolex or Sonos don’t share that universal identification as “big successful company”around the world. Basically is easier for someone not “in the know” (like me) to paint a basic picture in their minds of the size/success of Apple wearables.
