    With SaaS you need exponential growth, doubling or tripling ARR every year for four or five years if you want to get to post-startup scale before investor interest wanes. But that growth doesn't usually start at founding

    Being Public +1 on this one. Running a company well is the thing, and the discipline and scrutiny of doing so in the public domain builds important muscles that benefit the company, its employees, its shareholders and the community.

    An important and powerful read. Lack of empathy and insensitivity to others’ cultures and ethnicities is not ok. There are few things worse than a child feeling badly about their ethnicity, religion, culture or appearance. These are wounds not easily healed.

    Well-said ⁦⁩. This has been my take after many years across many markets. Invest in assets whose expected returns exceed the cost to finance them, maintain a measure of liquidity as insurance against cash flow vol and return the rest.
