  8. The BNNS library in Accelerate explicitly states that it is for inference only, and the Metal CNN stuff appears to have the same use cases.

  9. Do the Metal API's for convolutional neural networks support training (i.e. back-prop and stochastic optimization)? Nothing in the docs.
