I assume these systems have some unwitting anglo/romance-centric assumptions/language features - is this brought up in japanese?
This one is by Japanese designer Ota Yukio, btw. It's only now getting into 'international communication' conlangs, will report.

inflected languages can be regular (cf esperanto) - it's often redundant, but also some redundancy can help comprehension maybe?
