don't worry about it. They get extra crud on their computer, but unless it's hundreds of megabytes it probably doesn't matter.

I wouldn't worry about it. It's not perfect, but don't worry about it. OSX design makes it difficult to do uninstall cleanup.

(though maybe you can write an uninstall script for steam - I can't remember for sure if it's possible, though.)
