I basically need EditorUtility.SaveFilePanel in runtime.
but also meh - modern OS users hate file systems - for a game editor it seems the nicest way is to do storage/distribution yourself

right, having a button in game that opens whatever folder it is in the explorer/finder solves this issue (but it's still balls)

I just wonder where to put the files. If "Documents" people may rename/break it. If appdata, it won't uninstall with the game.

OSes nowadays have set directories to store files for programs - the standard way is to have a button in game that opens it
