Audio programmers (the kind that writes to the audio buffer), do you use safety tools in case of bugs that produce loud high pitch tones?
I haven't done anything extreme in unity so I haven't had to be careful, but I hurt myself with puredata once

Yeah. I do lots of OnAudioFilterRead synthesis, but realize a garbage collected language isn't ideal for DSP.

you can write code to ensure there's no garbage collection in the dsp thread, but yeah, it's still not ideal sure
