Say you have class A and are writing class B which you notice is very similar. Then write class C, derive B it, then rework A to use C, too.
@psysal or add some extra parameters/properites/switch statements to A and forget about B :P

@psysal makes serialisation easier. I have an entity class in my current game with an entitytype variable and it works well(only five types)
