I'm having trouble finding guides/tips for humanoid rigging from first principles - trying to figure out what the options are for modelling torso flexing/movement with (animation) bones.

I feel like the way you have "2/4/8/16-frame walk cycle" tutorials, I could benefit from seeing examples of humanoid animation skeletons with varying numbers of bones.
