Oh "Prunty" is the to-me-more-familiar alternative of "Ó Pronntaigh", from which Brontë also stems. Brontë is way better though! And it's not just the "aigh->ë". None of Doherty/Dohertë, Kelly/Kellë, Kennedy/Kennedë, Murray/Murrë are as nice. Brontë just a very nice surname!
