Weird audio problem! If I have a wav file of an oscillator of, let's say a filter sweep. I know: * Roughtly the frequency of the oscillator (+- 50 cents) * That the recording begins and ends on precisely the same phase How do I quickly count EXACTLY the oscillator cycle count?
Knowing approximately the frequency, and knowing that it has to fit into this length doesn't resolve the ambiguity?

It can be a long recording. It could definitely be a cycle off.

What do you mean by cycle? I thought I knew but maybe I don't.
