I'm struggling into picking a theme for my logic puzzle game. Any tips on how to pick a theme? Currently it looks like a platformer:https://twitter.com/ongamex92/status/1105917819366109186 …

Does it have a story or level progression that lends it to some visual style/setting?

Are the levels like any real life of possible fictional places?

I have some minor puzzle components: buttons, doors, levers, crates to pick up, platforms etc. But I struggle to come up with more "components" because I have no theme. So currently I have no setting or progression or anything.

In paper making puzzles and these puzzle game objects should be tied much to the theme, but I feel like I'm impaired because of it.

You could take the graphical style you have and run with it. See where it takes you.
