Terry's probably a notable counterexample to a lot of things haha. He's just an all-around skilled game creator. :) It takes experience to know how far you can push something, when in development you should start pushing, and when you should stop.

There's a lost generation of game developers who toiled away on RPG engines without finishing anything, but it doesn't seem like so much a problem in comparison nowadays.
