My heart is bursting. On the eve of my first child's birth, my dad - who's been in prison nearly my entire life - was granted clemency. He never intended harm, yet his crime devastated many families. My heart breaks for the families that can never get their loved ones back.

Yeahhh,
#FreeThemAll, cancel rent, and while we’re at it, all free errrythang. I’d rather experience a zombie apocalypse.1 reply 0 retweets 1 like -

You’d rather have an existence ending event than reimagine accountability and housing? Not all can dream, I suppose

This isn’t an idyllic dream; it’s reality. The call to cancel rent is extremist absurdity. Most must strive and produce, and a roof is a big motivator. The call to let everyone, including murderous sociopaths eager to chop up babies, onto our streets, is, well, I lack the words.
