@imyke Use a splitter jack.

@REReader have you seen any of these? -
@imyke Not yet, but the phone was only announced yesterday! Most tech writers expect to see several in the near future. -
@REReader sure, we expect them, but they do not exist right now. -
@imyke You do not have an iPhone 7 right now, either. -
@REReader correct! But I am very confident that the iPhone 7 will make it to market before an MFI certified Lightning splitter - View other replies

@imyke Belkin has announced one: https://youtu.be/U5kqV9mMHnE It's an inelegant solution--but it's the first, so inelegant is not unexpected. :) -
@REReader happy to see this!

@imyke so much snark. 1) your battery will last 2 hours longer. 2) organise your life better. 3) first world problem. -
@zkarj 1) unnecessary attitude -
@imyke I’m just grumpy because people who normally talk sense are snarking Apple seemingly endlessly. -
@zkarj but I am not trying to do that. It's ana actual thing I noticed. 2 hours extra battery will not help me on 17 hour travel days -
@imyke there are solutions (Bluetooth for one) and better ways of phrasing your observation than “Oh no…” -
@zkarj Bluetooth needs charging too. I was playing it for comedic effect. -
@imyke I can see that now, but amongst all the snark it blended in.

-
@nategorby it’s all happening simultaneously. Kinda. Hopefully.
