    This is so tragic. Actions like these demoralize good people from taking initiative. Some might say they are not in it for the fame but the hard work and thoughts count.

    So this really, really affected me - bc this still happens to me, all the time... & each time, I ask the same thing: "why?" Most traumatic exp. of uni remains a meeting regarding a project I initiated & led - prof didn't even look at me once, focusing on literally anyone else.
