As soon as we were alerted of the situation in this specific store last week, we took swift action to ensure our internet provider resolved the issue and made the changes needed in order to ensure our customers could use Wi-Fi in our store safely.

You say that as though it was a technical glitch rather than a deliberate act. Will you be investigating how this was allowed to happen?

Depends on who's responsible. If it's an employee or outside actor, you can bet Starbucks will be on that like foam on a cappuccino. If this is coming from the top down as a behind-the-scenes pilot for other stores, expect nothing.

Si fuera sin clave (o con la clave clásica del wifi estilo hogareño) esto no puede ser explotado. Esto te lo inyecta el portal de

Porque no habria portal captivo que te redireccione. O no habría necesidad para que hubiera un portal captivo. Es bastante difícil inyectar esto en un router hogareño o módem comercial.

BAWifi está configurado así, entras sin clave pero pasas por su portal donde aceptas términos y condiciones.
