Yes. Vallas criticized (small, insufficient) limits on CPD pursuits soon after his own son apparently killed a Black man and said NOTHING about it. Covering up police killing details until after the mayoral election? Anita Alvarez at his fundraiser? It's familiar and relevant.

Candidates not wanting to speak on Paul Vallas’s son is one thing but the media absolutely should not cower. Vallas is personally invested in policies around policing that pose a danger to Black lives. He kept this from the public. Press him.

Last question at @WBEZ forum: Do you believe in ghosts? Paul Vallas: Yes. Sophia King: No. Lori Lightfoot: "I believe in spirits from the material world." Chuy Garcia: "Sometimes." I think Buckner said "ghost buses."

"It was music that was shared and remixed on the internet and then presented at clubs where young people with DSLR cameras shot photos of other young people with DSLR cameras and then posted those photos back onto the internet. A lot of American Apparel v-necks."
