There was a time when it was a significant strategic advantage to have computers as a part of your business, but now if you bragged about that, it'd seem absurd. This is actually the sort of place I hope data science eventually reaches
"Data science is so commonplace that it's not interesting to mention" maybe sounds less sexy than "every decision is data-driven", but in practice, they're the same thing. The former just gives you a better idea of how to reach your desired end state
