In a love/hate relationship with Jira.

I really like it for tracking my own tasks and projects (or at least the idea), and sprint planning in general. I don’t like it for keeping track of external blockers/issues. Lot of overhead there.
in order for jira to work for external dependency tracking, everyone has to use it in exactly the same way, which is... unrealistic. back when i was an aggro scrum master, i wrote a bunch of scripts to help me keep track but it was still required a ton of manual effort to enforce
