The reason being that I'm mostly interested in doing impactful work. If I think the projects and mission are valuable, I'm happy to be called whatever folks wanna call me

"Data Science Manager." It's certainly accurate to call me a manager, but I am less opinionated about the "data science" part. It's a fuzzy word to begin with, and I'm just as happy to do data engineering, reporting or ML work if that's what the situation demands

Yeah I’m so over the whole DS/ML debate, though to be fair I’ve met more DSs who can do ML than MLEs who can do DS.
It’s a spectrum, not a binary. -
