For the most egregious items... 1) do my ranting and raging to a few Eng/UX confidants, often on other teams or something 2) THEN politely document and show the broken UX to people, it's usually so broken that even they'll go "wait, that's really how it works? wtf?!?!?"

The third party confidants are key, lol. The documentation part is interesting to me, tho. Is there a strong culture of institutionalizing knowledge through writing at your company?
