Getting people to double check analytics work is so hard. For software engineers, the PR reviewer can also be held accountable for letting buggy code slip. It's rare to same standard for analytics reviewers

I don't find code review is great at detecting bugs, but it holds software devs responsible for "quality" issues like unit tests, code clarity, etc. Conversely it's hard to write unit tests for analytics code, and the assumptions (where most errors lie) tend to be deeply hidden.
