this sort of very conscientious tracking of money is very good and important if you are in debt or otherwise in financial trouble but i havent been basing any decisions off this, really, and my spending is already low enough that its w/e

it might be good to do this on one or two months out of the year, just to have an idea of how you spend money and so you dont waste effort trying to improve your financial situation in ineffective ways

Me too! I think it makes sense to do this sort of checking for transactions greater than some threshold of your income (10% maybe) but otherwise your time is better spent elsewhere.

oh yeah, i still check my bank accounts every now and then to make sure i have enough money for rent and such but anything under $20 or so i just dont even think about really, i dont make it a habit to go spending much money so its nbd
