So far as potentially getting people fired is bad, low ratings are bad. But without low ratings, people are less inclined to do a good job.

I would have thought “so far as getting people fired is worse than getting the equivalent # hired is bad”, low ratings are bad. Because my impression was that uber was at capacity for drivers. Maybe that’s just wrong though.

If uber isn’t at capacity for drivers, I would have expected (perhaps incorrectly) them to be less draconian about ratings.
