I spent the Sunday reading "Siddhartha" by Herman Hesse.
Knowledge can be taught, wisdom cannot be.
To truly be free from the material, you need to fully experience it - to the point you become tired of it.

It is a really good book. I particularly liked the feeling of what wisdom being *lost* felt like. Though perhaps he merely forgot how to show a veneer of wisdom? Worth a reread at some point.
