All the more reason to vaccinate our nearly-12 year olds as soon as possible! We are nearly out of time if we want to get them done before school begins.
-
Sounds like the US will be moving to approve vax for under 12 in the near future. I can’t even imagine having kids under 12. My youngest is 16. Of course I can’t imagine going through this pandemic 15 yrs ago. I would have been unemployed w/o MS Teams and working remote.

Would this also mean that the virus could easily transmit asymptomatically(those who never develope symptom)? Does this have implications for fully vaccinated adults who get asymptomatic Covid and transmitting to unvaccinated kids(under 12)?
-
Transmission from asymptomatic patients has always been a problem. That's screening is not effective. Getting vaccinated is the best way to prevent getting seriously ill

So, we should all hide and await the 4th wave? I would like to see some positive messaging for a change from someone!
@BogochIsaac -
After the pandemic. In the meantime, reality isn’t all flowers and rainbows.

Isn’t this a great reason to mandate masks for elementary students who cannot be vaccinated at this time?
-
I’m so worried about the younger children being unmasked in school. A simple safety measure to wear a mask. At least till we see how fall goes!
