There’s probably more reason to it that Youtube does not want to communicate. For instance, they may be trying to stop these live subscribers comparison (pdp vs t-series) which may or may not incite ppl to unsubscribe from the targeted channels (e.g:James Charles and his 4M loss)

YouTube says people unsub to channels and broadcast live sub counts falling as a way of online bullying. It’s because
