not all forms of consciousness (or experience) need to be in the form of an ego, an identity & an entire story around it
i think it's a very common mistake to conflate human-specific consciousness with the much more generalized form: experience

I don't know much about LLM, but I know that this sentence "statistics do amount to understanding" was proven wrong mathematically if one insists on "understanding" to embrace "answering counterfactual question" (Rung 3).
