does anyone else feel like thick lines and thin lines completely impact their art and style....i tried thicker lines and it feels so weird

i am thick lines kind of person because i'm so bad at being gentle with a pencil, and when i draw thin lines it's like a whole new style???
yeah i feel like my style completely changes when i try thick lines...i start inking things and making different shapes and its SO CONFUSING
