i hate turning down people who want commissions 
it makes me feel so bad, I just really need a break and to do my own thing this month.

Don't feel bad.
It's nice people want your work (raises hand) but you gotta give yourself some down-time too. Art is work, and if you work 24/7 you end up frazzled and nobody wants that.
