Maddie, I tell you, I am currently working with way too few layers, and I so hope this won't haunt me later on. Also, this is going to be one big ass file.

my single character layers end up in like the 60s tbh I’m TERRIBLE for working on too many layers so goodness knows how many id use if I was doing a piece with that many chars YOU CAN DO IT THO I 100% believe in you

Thank you. Doing something with that many characters is really challenging in its own way. Even with layers for the outlines of each character it is quite hard to keep good track of everything.

that's a huge mood, i'm also especially guilty of NEVER NAMING MY LAYERS. but god yeah, it's been a long long time since i did a huge character piece, they are so time consuming and complicated x___x it's amazing practice tho

Layers are a frenemy. I sometimes name them stupid stuff, so I can never show people that. Also my file names are not always good for public eyes as well. xD I try to have standards there now though. Because if you upload files on Trello, everyone can see the file name, haha.
