    finally swallowed my acrophobia and made it up Great Tower on my penultimate day - up at 44m I took a moment to reflect on the great privilege it has been to work for this wonderful institution in such a beautiful city - thank you to all here!

    A fabulous from our wonderfully eclectic Library collection! This vellum flyleaf comes from a book of Spanish law cases of 1610 & shows the arms of the the plaintiff, Juan de Valencia. The book is bound in red velvet and was donated to us in 1924.
