Judiciary system will be first part of society fabric that AI will start breaking. English speaking countries use case law as basis for judiciary system. Already current AI models are good enough at constructing plausibly sounding arguments that can reference obscure cases.

i think in 5 years none of these will be the most used self-custody wallet i also think long term people will think of these products more like portals/browsers/appstores/identities than β€œwallets” twitter.com/JasonYanowitz/…

Web2 tooling and SaaS are not designed for Web3 way of work. The transition to novel interconnected way of work is happening and new tools will emerge from web3. Keep an eye on dev social network where some of the first ideas are built

This also changes the concept of money, which now serves as an optimization for communicating value without achieving global consensus. Fast consensus (via blockchain) w/ AI agents communicating can transform governance and society, finding more optimal allocation of resources.

AI changes things. Each individual person could have a representative AI agent that understand their needs and abilities and – in theory – could negotiate with every single other person's AI on the planet. There is much more room for complexity in that version of social order.

As the group scales, it becomes inefficient and over time impossible for people to understand one another's needs and abilities. (Dunbar puts this at 150.) And so they first turn to rules, setting up what to do and not to do as a way to optimize negotiations.

Underexplored topic in AI: the role it will play in governance for groups of different scales. Rules and laws exist in society as a form of optimization: they help us live together effectively, share resources, and cooperate. AI will change this, removing need for laws & rules.

Overall, Sui explores a lot of interesting ideas to increase throughput in the system when users interact with independent pieces of state. TLDR, the system is pretty complex and will require a lot of testing and adversarial thinking to ensure that it's not easily brought down.

Narwhal: fast tx propagation between nodes in the network via exchanging partial blocks in a DAG structure Pros: leaderless, faster tx dissemination Cons: DAGs in practice have pitfalls around nodes withholding ancestor data, leading to malicious nodes adding latency.

Object oriented scaling: usually blockchains parallelize on the chain level (Cosmos, Polkadot, L2s), account level (NEAR), or data level (Solana). Sui does it on the "object" level (think NFTs). Each object has an owner and some data, and associated code that can modify it.

Quick Pay: get super-majority of validators to pre-commit on inclusion of your transaction before consensus. Prove to receiver that they will receive funds/item eventually within 2 round trips with 2/3 of val. Cons: only works on NFTs/UTXOs, slows down with large # of val.
