The open source AI war has begun.

if AI is only as good as your data set, what is OS AI, and does it matter? Serious question I've been pondering a lot.

raised same issue about the data. It's same as any other data analysis tools that get open sourced, no? Useless w/o BYOD(ata).

I wonder if AI isn't an interesting cat where incumbents have an extreme advantage. Or is this nothing new?

If incumbents can figure out how to use "we have the MFing data" to their recruiting advantage, they will win win win

YesGraph has a data bet. Our plan is to get data from companies at moderate scale but without know-how to leverage

I should add that the internet is huge and full of data for the taking.
