Another thing about this. In the South, black people are often expected to just accept this kind of thing. It’s often not this blatant, but the message is everywhere. Why do you think people insist we accept public monuments honoring those who raped and enslaved us?

It goes without saying. Anyone that thinks it’s hyperbole to suggest that this is the equivalent of showing up @ a Jewish home w/ a swastika flag, doesn’t know their history. It’s the SAME.
