Because Medicare was supposed to be updated as needs changed. Since the 1990s, the
#GOP & big donor-funded Dems (most) promoted austerity/budget cutting of benefits programs, as the rich got obscenely richer. That nonsense needs to end. We can afford what other countries have - Voir les réponses
